FM Series Standard Molding Presses
The ELMCO FM
Series Standard Molding Presses have a single bottom punch and 'lift arm' ejection.
This press can have one or two top punches that can be controlled with pneumatic or hydraulic features.
Standard features:
- Heavy cast iron frame is used to eliminate alignment and vibration problems commonly associated with steel frame machines.
- Crankshaft is forged, heat treated and ground.
- Floating die plate is included for precise density control.
- "Pre-press" and "over-travel" are fully adjustable.
- Charger box movement is accurately controlled by adjustable split cams or programmable servo drive ball screws.
- Adjusting nuts and screws are precision machined and lapped for ultimate strength and ease of adjustment.
- Pneumatic clutch and brake can easily be serviced without removing the flywheel.
- Tool holders are made to accept your standard tooling sizes.
